Are Cleopatra cleaners insured?

Cleaners on our platform are independent contractors, not employees.
Because of that, cleaners are not required to carry liability insurance to accept jobs.

Some cleaners choose to carry their own insurance for extra protection. Others do not. Coverage varies by cleaner.

Does Cleopatra provide insurance for cleanings?

No. Cleopatra does not provide liability insurance, workers compensation, or homeowner coverage for cleaning services.

We are a platform that connects clients with independent cleaners. We do not insure the cleaners, and we do not insure your property.

Can I request an insured cleaner?

Not at this time. Some cleaners do carry insurance, but we do not currently filter or match based on insurance status.

In the future, we may add an optional “insured cleaner” badge when cleaners choose to upload proof of coverage.

Do I need my own insurance?

Most clients are covered for accidental damage through their homeowners or renters insurance, but every policy is different. If you’re unsure, check with your insurance provider.
