1. Secure Your Pets Before the Cleaning
If possible, place pets in a separate room or area during your cleaning. Got a cat who roams or a friendly dog? Totally fine, just note it when you book so your CleoCrew member can plan accordingly.
If your pet is high-energy or large, consider using a crate or pet gate. It keeps everyone safe and prevents any surprise zoomies mid-clean.
2. Tell Us About Your Pet
If your pet gets anxious around strangers, include that in your booking notes. If they shed a lot, let us know where it piles up most so we can focus there.
Any allergies, sensitivities, or special quirks? Add them when booking so we’re fully prepared.
3. Pet Hair and Odor Tips
We’ll handle pet hair on floors, furniture, and common areas. If there’s a specific spot that needs extra attention, just let us know.
For pet odors, we recommend cracking a window before and after the cleaning to keep your space feeling fresh.
4. What the CleoCrew Doesn’t Handle
We clean a lot, but not everything. CleoCrew members do not:
Empty litter boxes
Clean up pet accidents
Move or refill food or water bowls (unless wiping underneath)
Handle grooming or pet care
5. Keeping Your Pet Happy and Safe
Some pets don’t love the sound of vacuums or sprays. Giving them a calm, quiet space during the cleaning helps a lot.
If your pet tends to bolt for the door, let us know so your CleoCrew member can be careful when entering or leaving.
Friendly pets can stay out and about, as long as they’re not getting in the way of the clean.
