Identifying Hazardous or Sensitive Areas

These may include:

  • Mold growth in bathrooms, basements, or areas with water damage

  • Pest infestations such as bed bugs, cockroaches, or rodents

  • Biohazards like blood, bodily fluids, or medical waste

  • Strong chemical fumes from prior cleanings or improper product use

  • High-value or fragile items such as antiques, artwork, or glass décor

What to Do If You Encounter a Hazard

Mold Growth

  • Do not clean large mold infestations, they require professional remediation

  • Small mold spots (like in bathrooms) can be cleaned with safe cleaners and ventilation

  • Report significant mold issues to Cleopatra support before continuing

Pest Infestations

  • Stop cleaning and leave the area immediately

  • Do not attempt to clean or treat the infestation

  • Report the issue to Cleopatra support right away

Biohazards (Blood, Bodily Fluids, Medical Waste)

  • Do not clean biohazards under any circumstance

  • Avoid contact and notify Cleopatra support immediately

  • If the client requests biohazard cleanup, explain that Cleopatra does not offer this service

Strong Chemical Fumes or Unventilated Spaces

  • Increase airflow by opening windows and doors

  • If fumes cause irritation or dizziness, step outside for fresh air

  • Wear gloves and a mask when working with strong cleaners

High-Value or Fragile Items

  • Avoid touching or moving delicate or antique items unless absolutely necessary

  • Explain risks to the client if cleaning near fragile areas

  • Ask the client to move valuable items before you begin
