Your safety and the safety of clients are top priorities at Cleopatra. Following these guidelines helps prevent accidents, maintain hygiene, and ensure every cleaning is safe and professional.

General Safety Guidelines

  • Stay aware of your surroundings. Watch for wet floors, clutter, or anything that could cause trips or falls.

  • Use proper lifting techniques. Bend at your knees, not your back, and avoid moving heavy furniture alone.

  • Handle cleaning products carefully and always follow label instructions to avoid chemical reactions or surface damage.

  • Keep spaces ventilated by opening windows or using fans when working with stronger cleaning products.

  • Report hazards like mold, pests, or unsafe environments to Cleopatra support immediately.

  • Wear non-slip shoes to reduce the risk of slipping on wet floors.

COVID-19 and Illness Prevention

Even though COVID-19 risks are lower, hygiene and illness prevention are still important.

  • If you feel sick or have symptoms like fever, cough, or body aches, do not work. Notify Cleopatra support right away.

  • Wash your hands before and after every cleaning, especially after touching high-contact areas.

  • Disinfect high-touch spots like light switches, door handles, and remote controls.

  • Follow any client requests for masks or extra precautions.

  • Maintain a safe distance from clients when possible.

Handling Cleaning Products Safely

  • Never mix chemicals, especially bleach with ammonia or other cleaners. This can create toxic fumes.

  • Keep products in their original containers and store them safely.

  • Wear gloves when working with strong cleaning agents or disinfectants.

  • Use the right product for each surface to avoid causing damage.

Emergency Situations

  • For minor injuries, clean the wound, apply first aid, and notify Cleopatra support if needed.

  • For serious injuries or accidents, seek medical attention immediately and let support know as soon as possible.

  • If exposed to chemical spills or fumes, move to fresh air and rinse affected skin or eyes with clean water.
