You earn 78% of the base price for each cleaning. If that amount ends up being less than $20 per hour based on the estimated time for the job, Cleopatra will bump your pay to meet the $20/hour minimum.
As long as the job is done thoroughly and within a reasonable timeframe, you’ll never finish a cleaning feeling underpaid.
Designed for Fairness, Not Exploitation
The pay floor protects you when a job takes longer than expected for valid reasons. Sometimes things come up you couldn’t plan for, and that’s okay.
However, if your pay is being adjusted on nearly every job, we’ll review it. If it looks like the policy is being misused, Cleopatra may stop applying the pay floor for your cleanings.
